Our Story

Founded in 1992 by Restaurateur Scott Harris, Francesca’s Restaurants Group has grown from a small, welcoming Italian restaurant on Chicago’s North Clark Street to a restaurant group of three concepts across 33 locations and four states. Based in Chicago, Francesca’s Restaurant Group currently owns and operates 23 Francesca’s Restaurants, five Davanti Enoteca, and five Glazed and Infused locations. The concepts offer: handwritten menus of classic Italian favorites in an ambiance of sophisticated comfort at Francesca’s Restaurants; a neighborhood wine bar and restaurant with contemporary takes on rustic Italian cuisine at Davanti Enoteca; and a classic American, artisan doughnut shop experience at Glazed and Infused. Across all concepts, the multi-unit restaurant group maintains its commitment to the original restaurant’s founding philosophy of Italian hospitality, where simple food with quality ingredients and thoughtful service make a meal.
